My first thought was artichoke, but then I thought it wasn't because the dried flower didn't look right. Polly, though, set me straight on what the flower looks like after the edible "fruit" is done. So, I think it is very likely an arichoke. Yumm.
I reckon atrichoke too! mmmmmm....jealous
