being a record of events, both mundane and extraordinary, in the lives of Justin & Catalin, a generally cautious pair who, with unsettling regularity, throw caution to the wind and set out in new directions....
Didn't get a chance to wander around the yard again for pictures, but the fruit trees I remember are fig, pomegranate, tangerine, lemon, maybe lime, almond, maybe walnut too... Plus a ridiculous and tall palm tree.
The house has a funny layout, so if you can't figure it out from the pictures, don't be surprised. If you want me to ID any particular photos, just post a comment and I will try to clarify.
Wow, it is beautiful. I just can't figure out photo #4? And where's all those trees? Can't find any on the photos, is there a back garden? Would love you to get this house, it could do with a bit of Catalin-touch, and then it'd be perfect! :-)
wow!!! so much nicer than i'd imagined for the $ in the bay area! well done. & the thought of all those fruit trees leaves me smiling big!! good for you 2! my fingers are certainly crossed. polly
Picture #4 shows the back of the house. On the right is the garage and part of the back bedroom. Straigt ahead is the kitchen. To the left is the laundry room/hallway and then the living room (the room with the fireplace that's in another picture).
Hopefully next time I'm there I can take pictures of the yard.
The plot of land is a triangle and the yard goes out from the from the other side of the livingroom and dining room out to the point of the triangle. Maybe I can post an aerial view. Or if you want to map it, the address is 663 Wilson Ave, Richmond, CA. There's a school right across the street (the back street where the garage is).
Another explanation: In picture 5 you're looking at the patio area. On the left (through the french doors) is the dining room and on the right (through the sliding glass doors with the curtain billowing out) is the living room.
