Advice, anyone?
Just to be clear, these pictures represent two fallen branches. The skinny one that is still attached in the picture has been cut off below the cut. The other one is still as shown here.

Further clarification: That is the main trunk, and the branch below the break is the lowest branch on the tree, about four feet above the ground.
john's very simple advice: leave it be. "it looks fine to me" he said as he saw yr pics on the screen. he a man of few words.
