Sorry, the narrative is confusing. We visited the chooks in Katherine before going out to Pigeon Hole. When we got bogged I was wearing a longish (past the knee) rayon dress with a pair of baggy shorts under it, since that's how women out in the communities dress. Both dress and shorts got completely muddy and soaking wet during our (unsuccessful) attempts at unbogging the ute. I wish I'd gotten a picture of me then, but we were too muddy to get out the camera.
